Foundations of Breathwork
Breath as container
Reading lesson · 8 min read
Emotion moves through the body as sensation. Breath can be the vessel that holds it.
Name one feeling present now. Place it in the belly or chest and breathe around it.
We are not emptying the feeling. We are giving it room so it does not need to shout.
When you are ready, thank the sensation and return to the room with eyes open.
Practice: set a timer for five minutes. Breathe around one feeling. Journal one sentence after.
